This tune has been haunting me for a few months now so decided to do a quick recording - 3 viola da gamba tracks and 1 violone track plucking the bass line. This version is in G but at A=415.
A friend wrote lyrics for it - 2 versions, actually. I'll put the lyrics for the more "sentimental" version here - 2 verses by J.L. Pfaff
